Terrazzo is a trend we last saw in the 1970s. Building on the popularity of marble over the last few years, it offers a more colourful, more playful alternative.
This speckled mosaic of marble scraps originated with Venetian craftsmen over 1,000 years ago but it couldn’t look more cutting edge. When created with contemporary colours and placed within a modern scheme, it brings interest and texture to counter tops, floors and staircases. It also works incredibly well as a graphic design for fabrics and wallpapers.
